Meetings and errands

Today was a pretty busy day. We started off by picked up veggies from the community garden, and then prepared to head into town. Sophie's Dad was here to meet with the lawyers as well, so it was a group trip.

For our visa application process, we went to the lawyers office and, dropped off our documents and discussed next steps. It was a beautiful cloudy day, and the office provided a great view of the mountains!

Driving around the city was pretty neat with the cloud cover, here are some pictures I took on the drive (I was not driving).

Next, we went to meet with our representative at the bank, to do some more paper work. The meeting took quite a while, but we did get our debit cards, so that is great!

Sophie's parents had ordered some outdoor furniture a few days back, and two of the chairs were ready, so we went to a place called AR Holdings to them up. We'll pick up the outdoor table and two other chairs another day, as they are not ready yet.

Then we went to Pricesmart, which is the Latin American version of Costco to get a few things, such as a good cooler.

We got a lot of stuff, but it was kind of an overwhelming place, so I was glad when we left.
On the way out, I filled up my water bottle at the soda fountain, and I thought I had hit "water" but it was not still water, and it may have had some of the carbonated beverage in it, so that was unpleasant.

After that we headed home, but we went to a restaurant for dinner on the way home. I had a rice and shrimp dish, and it was very good!
