Tree Plantings and Music
This morning, we took part in a tree planting. Sophie had been to one before, but this time I joined her, and I am glad I did. We had several trees to plant, and we needed to dig holes in the rocky soil. Luckily, we had a caliche bar to get the rocks out (I call it a caliche bar, because that is what we called it during scouts, but it may be called a breaker bar also). The first two holes went relatively well, but the last hole had two huge rocks that we could not get out. However, one of the people said we could just break the root ball and that helped it fit. So with that, we got our third and final tree in the ground. Overall, it was a great time, and we got lots of good work done, though we did get blisters.
After that, we relaxed At home, as we were pretty tired. I was in kind of a weird headspace where I wanted to do stuff, but I did not have energy to do it, nor did I know exactly what I wanted to do. This happens from time to time, and it is not a fun feeling, but luckily it is temporary. I find the best thing to do when this happens is just to say it is ok to not do anything, and just take a nap. Though it can be hard to do sometimes.
In the evening, there was an singing event that we went too. It was nice to listen to the music! A lot of people showed up, and I think I was a little peopled out/too tired, so I mostly just listened.
After the event, we went home and got ready for bed and got some much needed sleep.

The tree planting sounds like a workout. And I get that restless/no energy feeling sometimes too. Your response makes perfect sense.
