Bre's Adventures

During the hardscaping, they did a lot of cleaning up in the backyard, so it is a lot more open now and easier to walk around in. I took a walk around the newly cleaned up backyard and visited the cool tree in the back. The cool tree Back entrance onto the road Kind of bittersweet, as it doesn't feel as jungly now You can see the new path going from the door to the left, which leads down to the balcony below 

We found a frog on the house! Sophie felt it in the bed, and we looked for it but did not find it. Then later I was on the computer and it hopped on my leg and then onto the glass door.  We captured it in a glass, and looked at it for a bit, and then took it outside. It just sat there in the glass for a while though. I wonder if it was just chilling, or if the light made it hard for it to see. It was squinting  I left it outside and turned off the porch light. I came back a bit later and saw it had left, so maybe that helped.

 So this evening we had an earthquake! It felt weird, and at first we were unsure what was happening, we just felt things shaking. Luckily, nothing bad happened, at least for us, though it does seem that some places had some things fall off shelves. Apparently, there was some damage, like at this maxipali

On October 3rd, we took a hike to the river again, and we got some nice pictures. you can click on them to get a better view. It was humid as always, but it was a nice hike!
